Background
Packing or unpacking a mod using the official GUTS editor normally requires sitting through a ~20-second load time while the full suite of editor features initializes.
TL2-Mikuro was designed as a lightweight CLI alternative for mod packaging and unpackaging, initializing in just about 3 seconds.
Because it calls export functions in EditorGuts.dll directly, the GUTS editor package still needs to be installed in the environment.
Installation
Simply drop TL2-Mikuro.exe into the same folder as Editor.exe / Torchlight2.exe to run.
Known Limitations
Constrained by the internal path logic of EditorGuts.dll, mod packaging only accepts project directories located under the mods folder, and unpacking output will likewise be extracted into a mods folder under the destination directory.
As this tool was originally written during the author's early exploration of WPF and C#, please excuse any rough edges; feedback and pull requests are welcome.
Roadmap
Further reverse engineering of EditorGuts.dll to explore standalone packaging without relying on official editor binaries.
